What about the one, I forget exactly how it goes, but it's the absurdly classical D&D set up... a brief exhange between two well-armed strangers in a tavern who inexplicably decide to band together, kill monsters, loot dungeons, and sleep under the stars for the rest of their days...? It was very wry, and funny as hell. Help me out here, anyone...

Ah yes, that one was hilarious. I think it was something like:

DM: Okay, you look around the tavern and see several old men drinking, along with a muscular man in chain mail.

Player: Okay, I go up to him and strike up a conversation. "Say, you're heavily armed and dangerous. Wanna go camping for the rest of our lives?"
