As are orchestrated rants about how all games that aren't D&D and aren't personally endorsed by the site owener are the devil and how the people who play them are dumb, evil, or out to get said site owner.
Ooh, yeah, I've been on the wrong side of that one. I got called an idiot there before my first post.

Yeah, I have been posting there less and less. I even lurk there less nowadays.

This has been my primary forum since the early days of 3e, back when it was The 3rd Edition. It's still my primary forum, in fact. Mostly focused on D&D, but it has forums for other systems as well.

That's pretty much it for good 3x board, IMHO. RPGnet has a d20 System forum but most of its content consists largely of duplicated ENworld or WotC threads -- and, for some reason, there is an active effort by certain parties who dislike 3x to troll the RPGnet forum.

Another issue I have with RPGNet boards in general - I get lots of adware, pop-ups (even when blockers are enabled), and sound files blaring open if I surf'n'lurk and I'm not logged in. And if you accidentally roll your mouse over one of those underlined words - look out! :)

If you like True20, a good, friendly and helpful place to go:

Well, the site owner doesn't generally censor the opinions of others so you are pretty much free to tell him what you think or ignore him entirely. It's definitely a different approach from the more heavily moderated sites.

Firefox, AdBlock Plus, NoScript.

IOW, I have none of those problems there (or elsewhere.)

I have found Dicefreaks to be pretty good. Unfortunately, their website has disappeared over the last month and I don't know if they have moved. Anybody know whats going on there?
Dicefreaks was Hacked. Their mods lost the ability to log in or maintain the site database. They've saved what they could along with asking site members to save all important threads and migrated to another temporary site. Posting from work computer will add in the site address when I get back home.

EDIT: Went back and saw others links, another unnecessary
