2 questions:
1) does anyone know where this is?
2) do you think anyone would mind if me and a few people setup a card table, some fold up chairs and some lamps to play there?

If the walls could talk this place would have some stories to tell. From what little color is still on the walls I'm guessing that it closed down in the 60s that means that it really saw the dark ages of phyciatry.

My personal favorite pic is: http://www.oboylephoto.com/state_hospital/lockup_ward5.jpg

The tiny cell makes me believe that this was probably an issolation room of some sort. I like the radiator sat up on the wall for two reasons.
1) It shows a little of the precautions that were taken with insane asylums to keep the inmates (err, patients) safe from themselves.

2) The size of the room hints at the conditions that the inmates (err, patients) were kept in.

Check out the Bethlehem Steel plant on that site. It's acres and acres of old, abandoned industrial equipment.
It's not nearly as creepy as the asylum, but I went to school in Bethlehem, and it's pretty creepy in person. While I was there, there was one small part of the plant still running. The entire place would be dead at night, except for one, tiny blue flame you could see burning in some kind of stack, surrounded by dark, abandoned buildings.
After the place closed completely, a friend of mine wanted to sneak in and run a midnight Vampire LARP in the old buildings. I'm sure he never did, but it would have been CREEPY.
