Solace is relatively certain she overhead a sage in her home city arguing with a colleague in a public byway about the development of bat guano as a prophylactic against insanity. The sage lobbied for the smearing of bat droppings around the body's orifices as a means to keep instability at bay. The colleague's subsequent comment that about bats, droppings, and craziness, however, remain a mystery to her.
