Outsiders?

Some of the classic AD&D monsters are absent from Castles and Crusades due to copyright issues (Mind Flayers and Beholders, for example). But one classic type of monster seems absent: demons and devils. There seems to be a couple of very minor examples in Monsters and Treasures (e.g. the Imp) but nothing cool and dangerous.

Did these creatures show up in any of the Castles and Crusades supplements? I looked over at TLG's website and there are some promising possibilities but I would not mind some hints, if anyone here is aware of any.

[I've been reading the long-awaited Castle Keepers Guide and realized that C&C could do something more modern, say 1750, with a clear supernatural theme]

There was a recent release (a few months back?) called "Monsters and Treasure of Aihrde" IIRC, that had demons and devils in it (and a bunch of other monsters too). Not the old standbys, different demons and devils.

I wonder, what are the licensing rules for the C&C name? It certainly seems like someone who goes ahead and converts all the SRD monsters and treasure that don't appear in C&C and prices the resulting PDF low ($4.99 or under) could probably move quite a few of them.

(Another PDF, replicating the not-easy-to-reverse-engineer prestige classes, might also do well, although it'd have a smaller audience, probably, since the people who really wanted 3E flavor would presumably just keep playing 3E instead of C&C.)

This one is a head-scratcher for me, too. It wouldn't be too hard to convert them from 3E sources/the SRD, but it seems odd that it'd be required at all.

Yes, I was surprised, as well, that they were not in the default Monsters and Treasures book. They seemed like a very classic type of monster and I was curious to see the Castles and Crusades take on them (even if they were different than in the classic AD&D canon).
