Overwelmed and in need of assistance

well takeing the advice of evryone who posted i started with a homebrew.......i would just like to say thank you all it went amazingly well. also i hade a thought i am somewhat skilled at makeing boards like those used in warhammer i was wondering if building a large scale dungeon and actually going through a 3D setting would be a good idea?

I like to use minis when I game.

I have invested $$$$ in Dwarven Forge and other props for setting up encounters.

My biggest lesson: unless you shell out big bucks on props and have a HUGE space to set things up, you can't model your whole adventure with 3D props. Its best to choose 1 or 2 major encounters to model fully, and have a couple of minor ones you can set up quickly.

I HAVE shelled out the $$$$, and I have a seperate den in which to game and I STILL don't model the whole adventure for the night.
