Pathfinder 1E Paizo hires new editor, but where's Dave?

I don't know if I have the proper forum for this query, but I noticed good ol' Paizo is hiring a new editor-n-chief for Amazing Stories. I thought Dave Gross had that job. In fact, I'm sure he did. What happened?

Now, this would be a dream job. EIC of Amazing Stories....I imagine a lot of people will apply. I wonder how stiff the competition will be.
