Hello again my lovelies! Another month gone by and another month of delight looms on the horizon in the hands of our favorite Golem. That must mean it’s time for our favorite – the PAIZO NEWS ROUNDUP! This time we’re taking a look at the major book releases slated for November, with Adventure Paths for both Starfinder and Pathfinder 2E on the menu. Let’s get started!

First on the table, however, is a new book that’s sure to be a favorite of every Starfinder player (and maybe some GMs will find it useful too!): it’s the Starfinder Character Operations Manual! It seems like strange to say that Starfinder hasn’t had a splatbook for character options in all this time, but that’s the truth! Finally scratch that itch of character customization with new options for backgrounds, heritages, and training regimens. What’s a training regimen? Who knows! Probably a way to add fun new personalization to higher-level characters. Find out in the Character Operations Manual!

The big news, of course, is the three new base classes to dig into and turn into finely-tuned Starfinding machines. Each new class – biohacker, vanguard, and witchwarper – ooze flavor and excitement, begging to be given a run at the stars. And while you’re out there in the void, give your ship something to do – looks like you can give your starship a role, and give your flunkies even more actions to totally bungle. Finally, downtime activities will (as always) be the bane or blessing GMs need for their games, and the Character Operations Manual gives us our first taste of what downtime looks like in Starfinder.

That’s enough character goolies, it’s on to the Adventure Paths! November sees the continuation of the two ongoing Adventure Paths for both Starfinder and Pathfinder 2E. Let’s start with Starfinder, since we’re on the subject!

Last time, in the Attack of the Swarm! Adventure Path… your heroes found hope in the midst of the ravages of the extrasolar threat when they discovered the existence of a holy site to the insect goddess Hylax! But knowing it exists is only half the puzzle – now you must find the temple and gain the trust of the inhabitants in order to find what you need to defeat the Swarm. What trials await you on the icy comet-temple of a forgotten insect god? What powerful magics will reward you for your efforts?! CAN YOU COMPLETE THE TRIALS BEFORE THE SWARM CONSUMES THE TEMPLE ITSELF? Find out for yourself in STARFINDER ADVENTURE PATH #22: THE FOREVER RELIQUARY!

Now we move back in time and deeper into the heart of danger – to Pathfinder! Last time, on the Age of Ashes Adventure Path… your heroes have been chasing the slave-trading and cult-leading cabal of criminals known as the Scarlet Triad from stronghold to stronghold, uncovering their nefarious plots and wrecking their ruinous organization at every turn. Now it’s time to take the fight to the heart of their order in the massive city of Katapesh! Unfortunately, this is where the Scarlet Triad has had the greatest opportunity to tighten their hold on the city’s government, institutions, and people – before you can defeat them for good, you have to destroy their support within the city. Can you best the rules of one of the largest cities in Golarion? What terrible revelations await you beneath the Scarlet Pyramid? Most importantly, WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH ALL THESE GNOMES?! Find out for yourself in PATHFINDER ADVENTURE PATH #49: AGAINST THE SCARLET TRIAD!

Well, my lovelies, that about does it for this edition of the PAIZO NEWS ROUNDUP! See you next time!
