Pathfinder 1E Paizo shipping and customer service

Twice now, I've ordered items from them and not received them remotely on time. First, I got a Dungeon magazine that was the wrong one. Now, I'm missing 5-6 modules from them, which I ordered Jan. 4th. I've brought this up with them on their customer service boards. Now, they're not replying to my messages there over the past week or my email to their customer service department, even to acknowledge their receipt of it.

Anyone else have this issue with that company? Should I be worried that this is a sign of greater financial troubles with that company? I'm a double subscriber with them, so I'm not looking for that financial investment to be left hanging out to dry.

I had a problem with an order. They left out a book. I tried emailing and my email kept bouncing because it could not be delovered in an hour. I called several times and left messages.

Finally I just kept calling until I talked to real life person and the they got everything fixed.

Two weeks after the book came I finally get a calll back from the messages I left. :\

I would suggest calling and speaking to a real live person because their customer service does not seem very organized.

I haven't had any problems with customer service.

I cancelled my dungeon and dragon subscriptions because of the painfully slow delivery times, but this was years ago and apparently they sorted it out after that.

I'm a subscriber for Pathfinder (and was for Dungeon and Dragon) and the only problems I have ever had were with their UK distributors for Dungeon & Dragon (TPFG)

Delivery direct from Paizo (for Pathfinder and other orders) has always been fine - despatch sometimes takes a few days - but no longer in my experience than many other online retailers, and their customer service response (when needed) has always been speedy and efficient.

All I can say is, I've had good experiences with Paizo. Yes, the occasional late issue of Dragon, but direct orders and Pathfinder have been fine for me.

I have also found Paizo's shipping to be very slow. I submitted my first and last order on December 30, and I didn't receive the items (all then in stock) until January 26, literally fifteen minutes before I had to leave for the game in which I intended to use some of my new purchases. I ended up ordering an issue of Pathfinder from Amazon nineteen days later than my Paizo order, and it arrived sooner than my Paizo shipment, even with free Super-Saver shipping. I've since decided to order Paizo products from my FLGS (when not from Amazon), since they say they can get them from their distributor in a matter of days. In other words, I like what Paizo has done as a publisher, but I'll rely on others for distribution in the future.

On the plus side, I found Paizo's customer service to be prompt in responding to my inquiries.

My experience with shipping from Paizo has been a mixed bag, but it depends what type of shipping you get.

I've found that shipping through USPS is always disappointing, always late, and neither Paizo nor I has any way of figuring out where in the US the order is at any given time. USPS is a black hole that, in my humble opinion, you might as well just stay away from.

Pay the extra 5 bucks or whatever and get it done through UPS ground. You get a tracking number, you can check status daily, and for whatever reason they seem to deliver on time more often than not. They can come up with an expected dropoff date and they usually hit it.

While I've only placed three or four direct orders with Paizo, I have found them to be slower than any other online rpg store in terms of shipping. Also, the packaging is often less than desirable. Although nothing has been badly damaged in my shipments, I can only assume it's because of pure luck given the rather flimsy cardboard envelopes used to package the books.

On the other hand, I've heard nothing but good things about their customer service. Perhaps your experience is merely a fluke, though I understand it never feels like that when it's happening to you. I hope your problem is quickly resolved.

I recently contacted Paizo via email to cancel my Pathfinder Subscription after the delivery of #6 (so that I had a complete Runelords run). I just needed to readjust my finances lately.

Anyway, they responded within minutes to both emails that I needed to send... one prior to delivery of #6 in which they told me that I would have to wait until after that issue shipped.... then again when I resubmitted the request after #6 had shipped. In both instances, very fast and very cordial considering I was contacting them to cancel.

I've had some interesting experiences with Paizo-to say the least. I ordered some Player's Guides to Ptolus-they sent me the main book. I ordered some books from the Green Ronin sale-they sent nothing. I ordered the Pathfinder subscription-they sent me the module, The Hangman's Noose in addition to Pathfinder #6. I can't really complain too much (most of the snafus have worked in my favor), but it is weird.
