"Most seem to think that just because you are a paladin you can main, torture and kill on a whim"

Who are these people, grade schoolers? And being Lawful Good does NOT make your character stupid.

I'm fairly strict as a DM. When a player confuses "Lawful Good" with "Lawful Arrogant", I tell him that his alignment is drifting toward Lawful Neutral and that he risks losing his paladinhood. Too me, that sort of self-righteousness is contrary to the nature of the paladin.

Currently I am playing a lawful good fighter/sorcerer who worships Ilmater (lg god from the FR) and he is hardly brave, just or arrogant. He is a charasmatic fighter, always chosing to do the good thing, who is willing to sacrifice his life for others and who is open to admit it when ever he makes an error (and with a wisdom of 8 he does make errors). I am playing the PC as a paladin and I will see if the DM allows me to take paladin levels. That is, if I survive. Ilmater worshippers have a tendecy to help people even if it means certain death...
