Paladins w/out spells

I'm sure I've seen this variant before, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it in any of my sourcebooks. Is there a variant of the paladin w/out spells somewhere?

Alternatively to the official version in CWar...
- remove the paladin's spellcasting
- multiclass with the PHB2 Knight at 6th level
- allow paladin and knight levels to stack for purposes of determining paladin special abilities

Pg 13 of Complete Warrior (the same page as the spellless ranger).

And note that this is the Paladin Without Spellcasting. The class still grants supernatural or spell-like abilities that closely resemble some spells from the Paladin list at the level you'd get the spell level.

Also: allow Paladins (and Rangers) w/o spells to be able to choose from Fighter only Bonus feats (with a possible extra Feat at level one, but no bonus feats like Fighters as they progress in levels, though - that should definitely remain Fighter only). Paladin levels count as "Fighter" for purposes of entry into Feats such as Weapon Specialization and the like.

How about a bonus feat at each level where they would receive access to a new spell level (i.e. lvl 4, 8, 11, 14).

Yep, that has worked. I have a player who is playing a paladin who liked that alternative very much.
