Palladium books?

in the palladium fantasy rpg they give some exapmles of AR and how it works

I've been going through the rules and realized ballistic weapons (such as guns) are cool, cheap, and (in how I'm going to play it) easier to find ammo for, energy weapons are scarce IF NOT WORKING FOR THE COALITION and the blackmarket has trouble with supply for energy ammo

its to keep the ballistic weapons in the game, MD or not, I think calling a shot to a certain part of a robot should do something, like shooting a leg joint MIGHT slow it down, something like that, I'm going to reward players for narratives and the like, the idea is to keep non-energy weapons still in the game

granted they will eventually wind up with awesome weapons, i think to start the game they will more or less fight some zombies (unintelligent mutant corpses after brains, most of my players need no more motivation than 'it moans brains and stumbles slowly') and maybe a few bandits (only a few will have MD armor)

basically, its to test the rules, get a feel for combat and the setting and do what everyone loves to do...kill zombies
