So I got up this morning and logged on to wizards, and saw that "keep minis out of D&D" thread again, and it got me thinking. I like minis. I really, really like them. The first time I ever played D&D, it was with little plastic red minis that came in the box (for the heroes) and fold-over cardstock minis that had to be cut out and set up (for all the NPCs and monsters). I miss those simple days, moving little figures and folded paper around on the 1" grid.
So, I said to myself, what the heck, just for fun (for yuks, for laughs, for a lark, for pooh and giggles), why don't I slap together some paper minis? Sure, it took a great deal of copying-and-pasting sprites that had been previously ripped from 16-bit sources, but I'm rather happy with the results, and will doubtlessly be using them the next time I play.
