All the Prestige Classes are my own creations, (...)
I would've bet money on that ;)
Nicely done, as always. Mind Eater and Warrior of the Violet Line are my favorites. More toys for a DM to play with, and nothing my players will ever get the chance to exploit...

Did I mention that this book receives my highest recommendations? (Not that this should mean anything to you...)

Conclusion: take a look at it, if you've got the chance. If you like the "crunch/fluff"-quota, this book is for you.

As an aside, I have NEVER read the Illithiad. I avoided all things 2nd edition back in those days and now the books are quite expensive and hard to come by.

I recommend grabbing that book now. It and "I, Tyrant" are two of the best 2nd edition books available. The illithiad is written by Bruce Cordell which is a sign or greatness right there. The adventure trilogy for The Illithiad is also pretty good.

Hello Everyone,

Please forgive my delay in responding to this thread, but I have had technical difficulties with my account on ENWorld and didn't get a response from Morrus, so I decided to create a new one.

In any case, thanks for the kind words on Unveiled Masters. It's definitely one of my favorite products we've published. I see that a lot of you own and enjoyed it. May I point out that there are no reviews of it here on ENWorld, so please feel free to share your thoughts with the rest of the gaming community. :D

To the original creator of this thread, I'm sorry to say that a Mindflayer outpost or settlement is not detailed in the book. Our original idea was to create a MEGA-Adventure using the material from Unveiled Masters and Plot and Poison, Green Ronin's excellent Drow Sourcebook and OGL Interlink companion to the Mindflayer book.

Unfortunately, the change in the SRD derailed that idea and the Mega-Adventure, which would have included said Mindflayer city, never saw the light of day.

I hope you pick up Unveiled Masters and give it a look. It has lots of material to confound and frighten your PCs with. Mssrs. Kenson, Maliszewiski and Parent did a great job with creating new material that complimented established Mindflayer mythos without infringing on WOTC's product identity.

Best,

Henry Lopez

Anyone that has looked at the current issue of Dragon Magazine and is interested in the confluence of psionics and magic should get a copy of Unveiled Masters. That is an area of Mind Flayer development that we explored in detail in the book.
