Paragon Classes

Paragon classes are a variant that basically allows you
to take levels in a race.

Each one is three levels long.
Each paragon class improves the racial abilities granted
by that class, and provides a boost to the races corresponding
ability score at the third level.
For instance, Dwarf paragons get full BAB, good fort save,
improved stonecunning, and +2 to Con.

Wondering if you had heard of this variant,
and if you knew of good class combinations.

Well, like, a dwarf paragon deepwarden Battlerager would be kinda nasty...

The half orc can take orc once he gets done with half orc, that's like +6 to Str total, with full BAB.

Halfling Master thrower, lol.

wtf why did I just answer myself

Fixed that for ya.

I'm a big fan of the human paragon class. I think it's exceptionally well-balanced and really captures the essence of the race nicely. One of my players is running a human paragon/wizard right now, and it's working well. (I know this violates the First Law of Multiclassing: "Thou shalt never give up a caster level," but screw optimization, we play to have fun!)

I've also seen a dwarf paragon/fighter in play (all right, but nothing to gild your gemstones over), and have personally played an elf paragon/wizard, which I quite enjoyed (his Spot and Listen were positively sick).

rofl I can't believe I missed that.

I told myself "I'm not gonna put class"

but there it is

I told my DM of some of these ideas and he was like "Too many classes, why can't you just play a damn rogue and be done with it?"

EDIT:Looking for good Half-Orc/Orc classes, only good one I could find is Eye of Gruumsh. I would prefer not to play a barbarian class, unless it was especially powerful with Eye, or if it contributed to the flavor in some way.
