Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder 2E Quickstart?

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

I’ve been looking to see if there’s any sort of free Quickstart try-before-you-buy for PF 2E. It looks like as if there used to be a couple of free adventures (Big Trouble in Little Absalom, maybe?) but if so I can’t find them now. Does anyone know of anything like this available, preferably in pdf form? If there isn’t, is there a paid version?

Unsure of the free stuff, but there is the beginner box set. I think I saw on reddit that there might be a new one coming out in February. The current box set is in this humble bundle: Humble RPG Bundle: Pathfinder Second Edition Holiday Haul Bundle by Paizo for $40 you get all the core books and some adventures and the beginner box. Unless you're totally out of money right now - it's as good as free for trying out PF2e. I bought the previous bundle because I had been interested in checking out PF2e and it was the same level of deal.

Or for $5 from the same bundle, you get the Beginner Box, Player Core, GM Core, GM screen, one scenario and 5 flip mats. All pdf of course but pretty close to free.

I also recommend getting the 5$ PDF bundle. The game is basically free on Home - Archives of Nethys: Pathfinder 2nd Edition Database the only things that are not on it are modules, adventures the like. I also recommend using Pathbuilder if you are looking for a digital character builder. Pathbuilder 2e It's also free and only paywalls Cloud Saving and Companions (which you can do pretty easily on paper anyway)

There's also a free short adventure, Torment and Legacy, meant to serve as a single-session intro to PF2E.

Yes, but OP was looking for a quickstart which usually covers a short scenario which isn't on AoN

Looks like Paizo are charging 5 dollars on their own site, but keeping them free on Drivethru, which is odd.

The "Quickstart" is the Beginner Box, which is very comprehensive (and priced accordingly). I couldn't see it on Drivethru, but you can get it from the Paizo site for 20 dollars.
