Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder 3: The Hook Mountain Massacre

I enjoyed reading it, but I'm not sure it would play well with most of the folks I've gamed with. There's a thin line between horror and comedy, sometimes, and I think it'd end up the latter.

The thing is, of the movies I listed, Deliverance would be the one I'd most consider "horror". The other two were rather campy. I consider this module to in that vein, which I think it would work out nicely at the table.

You thought the Hills Have Eyes was campy?

I just got hte pdf on this and skimmed some of it. I'm still amazed at the absurdly low AC's of the sample PC's. Anyone packing a 20 AC at 7th level for a front line fighter had better be a stock holder in the diamond dust industry. These chumps would get creamed through this. Then again, Paizo has always hated giving anything a resonable AC.

Dang this sounds wonderful. It sounds exactly like the sort of adventure that I'd enjoy. I can't wait for my copy to arrive.

Though I still haven't had time to finish reading pathfinder#2 which is great too!

Too scary for 10 and 11 and 12 year olds? I DM one group of kids....

You'd have to tone it down some for sure. But the great thing about the adventure medium is that the DM has total creative control of what the players see/expereince, so that's not too hard to do. Just make it more Grimm's Fairy Tales and less Deliverance in your portrayal...though this will require some work on your part.
