Hahaha nice. I ordered the players guide and Admiral softcover on friday and they arrived yesterday so it was petty quick and I love the quality. The players who will be in my game enjoied reading through them too.

Will you be uploading the pdf for us to look at in the meantime while we wait for the physical? :D

As always, keep up the great work! i'm excited to see how everything pulls together.

Email just came in. I'll upload the files tomorrow and see if the printer accepts them. Then . . . Russ, is it 1d12+6 days?

1d12 days for them to approve it, then you have to order a proof copy, have it printed, receive it, and approve it yourself, then wait until the system there allows you to toggle the print copy as available, a time period for which I've never been able to discern any kind of pattern.

I've sent out download links to our KS backers. Russ, I don't know whether the DriveThruRPG/RPGNow site automatically notifies subscribers or if we have to do that manually. And we still need to upload the file to EN World for the people subscribing here.

I uploaded the files for the Print on Demand version, and of course not 4 hours later Frank realized we had a handful of page references wrong. I can't upload new versions yet, so if RPGNow accepts the files, I'm tempted to just leave them as is instead of waiting another 1d12 days before I can order proof copies.

You do that to me 100% of the time. :)

I do not think that RPGNow/Drivethrurpg is putting it up automatically for the subscribers there. I have a subscription for this on that site and it will not let me download the Pathfinder version for this. It is available for $29.99, but not part of the subscription. It does have the 4e version available to subscribers however.

Anyone knows what is the difference between the premium and standard colour hardcover versions? Price-wise, there is a $35+ gap which is quite significant considering if the content are the same (by the way, I am already a subscriber to the PDF - just wanted to buy the hardcover print book)

If you're asking what the difference is between the original and 'updated' versions of the adventures are, someone already asked that about the 4e version, and I'll transcribe my answer here. I don't see myself as an expert on the subject, but at least no one quibbled over my answer when I posted it the first time I guess?

Also since I was only looking at the 4e content, your PF mileage may vary.

------

I've read over all the 'original' versions of chapters 1-5. Looking over my new Act I compilation pdf, here's some of the highlights...

The updated version of the Player's Guide and the Campaign Guide included (though I think both are available for free download by now).
Updated encounters, including a version of the Chapter 2 climax in which Reed won't get KO'd on turn 3, a carriage chase that doesn't take place at walking speed, and enemy rifles/shotguns that work the same as player rifles. Admittedly, these are all changes that could be easily implemented by a GM, though some are hard to foresee as problems ahead of time.
New maps, including the Nalaam arena, a sample Avery Line Rail Enclave, the new layout of the Coaltongue, and the tunnels beneath Soknik Repairs in Ch 5. Also a slightly prettier version of the Cauldron Hill encounter map for Chapter 2.
The add-on of Crypta Hereticarum (very cool)!
A new player handout: scribbled notes describing the construction of the Eschatologist Bomb in Chapter 5.
Helpful appendices containing item/power cards, quick reference guides, enemy/ally statistics, and a 2-page section giving more campaign-relevant info on the Ancients.
Various other minor fixes or additions. In addition to typo-fixes and small clarifications, Benedict Pemberton is now first introduced to the party in Chapter 1, and the Xambria's Consciousness Boon now has a much more reasonably gradual rate of improvement that fits with the fact that the player will be with her for a full 8 levels. There's probably way more of these than I could reliably track down, as my attention span for re-reading the adventures I've already run for my group (1-3) is fairly short.

Really, I like it best for the sake of convenience, just being able to ctrl-f my way to literally anything, as long as it's not from Chapter 6+. No more having a player ask me about something that I have to search through several other files to find!
