Second IronWolf's advice. However, here is my $0.02:
1) Rise of the Runelords; I had lot's of fun playing in this AP(have not been able to finish and if someone is DMing this, I would love to finish). This AP has a good hook to get the PC's investigating and some horror. It also can play on the PC's moral and ethic's. Combat is fun for the most part, but can be kinda hokey. i.e. 1 encounter is really hard whereas the very next encounter is a cake walk. Needs updated from 3.5, but is easy as most of the creatures are converted on d20pfsrd.com. Really needs the loot fixed as it is very lite on loot.
2) Curse of the Crimson Throne; I only played in the last two books, so cannot comment on the beginning 4. I also liked this AP. However, not playing from the start I had no motivation to continue the AP other than I did not want to let my friends down.
3) Second Darkness; Have not read it, but have heard it was the worse AP of Paizo's stock.
4) Legacy of Fire; I am DMing it right now and the PC's just made 3rd level. caveat emptor, arabian knights/djinni/middle eastern genre is my favorite. So far what I have read, this AP is great. Some of it seems a little off, but easily fixed by the DM. The first book really gets the players to gel and provides some comic and moral dilemmas to make the PC's think and hate their adversary.
5) Council of Thieves; I really want to play in this AP. If you have played Eberron and like Political Intrigue, Assassinations and such, this is the AP for you. I have not read the AP, this is just what I have heard.
6) Kingmaker; Also DMing this AP currently. I enjoy this AP as it is so different than your normal AP as it seems more like a open ended book where the PC's have free reign. Now, this has made me kinda regret DMing it as it adds a lot of rules on top of having to learn the normal Pathfinder rules and placing alot of pressure on myself as I really want the feel of the AP to come off like the AP is wrote. So, if you can think on your feet and come up with stuff on the fly, this AP is for you. Otherwise, you may need to spend a little more time up front to plan out what you think your PC's may do.
7) Serpent's Skull; I enjoy Pirates and Swashbuckling as well, so have held off on reading this AP. I hear that it looks to be another Paizo winner.
BTW, would you be willing to play Pathfinder with a VTT? If so, the tiles/tokens/maps, can come straight from the AP.
