Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Battles: Rise of the Runelords Minis

The week of 2-24-2012 previews.

First up this week we have Aldern Foxglove, a local lord encountered by the player characters in the opening encounters of the campaign.

Then we have the rare The Skinsaw Man, who for whatever reason seems to have gotten a hold of a familiar jacket.

Lucrecia makes a great figure for any female noble, and she plays an important role in the middle part of the Rise of the Runelords campaign.

And because every preview blog needs a good monster, here's the uncommon Lamia Matriarch.

Just to clarify a bit, every miniature in the set appears in the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, but not every monster in the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path gets a mini (because that would be like 300 minis).

There are fewer than 300 minis in the Rise of the Runelords set.

Update and new pics for the week of 3/2/2012

Up first is the uncommon Ogre, your general rank-and-file maniac.

Look out for this Uncommon big fella with the huge club!

On Hook Mountain, it takes a strong ogre indeed to keep all the family in line. In this set, that duty falls to the brutal Jaagrath Kreeg, a rare miniature with a leering smile and lust in his beady little eyes.

These OGRES look freakin Brutal!!!

I've been very impressed by the Pathfinder minis I've got, that arrived yesterday. In photos they look a bit garish, but in the 'flesh' they're just right; most have extremely high facial detail, and the Beginner Box Heroes are just awesome. And the Goblins are awfully cute. Also, finally, a reasonably priced source of wolves!

I thought the first series was decent. Series 2 looks just... Wow.

Time to start saving, I guess.

Well if the set is reasonably priced, instead of the laughable $300 or so they want for their other sets than id be interested. Certainly high quality work here.
