Pathfinder 1E pathfinder card game made into a RPG

SO there is this deck building card game from Piazo, it has some cool mechanics in it, your Deck is both HP and options, your stats are die codes.

One of my friends last night asked how hard it would be to use the new idea's and make an RPG campaign out of it. I didn't think it was possible, but some of the guys just Texted me they want to try.

Anyone out there thought about this before?

I highly recommend that you try it before you buy it, if you can help it. I found the game boring and rather lame, I'm afraid. There is no real depth and it does not capture any sense of a PnP RPG at all. The mechanics are clunky and tedious. There is little to no sense of party cooperation.

Don't impulse buy this unless you figure you can use the cards as props for your tabletop games.

Thanks. That's why I was asking about comparing it to Castle Ravenloft. I found that one kind of boring and was wondering if it was more of the same.

each stat is a die code,

so you might have:
d4 str
d8 dex
d6 con
d10 Int
d8 Wis
d6 cha

and be a wizard. Then skills are + after them, so that wizard might have:
d4 str
d8 dex
+1 ranged attack
d6 con
d10 Int
+2 arcane
d8 Wis
+1 will power
+1 perception
d6 cha

so if you have the card Quarter staff it says reveal from your hand to add 1d6 to your melee attack or discard it to add an additional d6 (so 2d6)

so you can show the card and keep it in your hand to attack with 1d4+1d6

If you have the sling it is a ranged weapon that says reveal from your hand to add 1d6 to your range attack or discard it to add an additional d6 (so 2d6)

so you can show the card and keep it in your hand to attack with 1d8+1d6+1

If you have the spell lighting touch in your hand it says discard to attack with Arcane+2d4 so you would roll 1d10+2d4+1 for that attack

spells have recharges, the ability to put them back at the bottom of your deck. You need to make a check to do it and the DC is based on the spell.

Monsters have DCs to fight, lets say an Orc Savage is a 9 then you roll your attack if it is a 9 or better it is beat, if not you take damage and fight again. Damage is cards discarded from your hand. it is the difference from your roll and the DC so if you rolled an 8 against that 9 then it is 1 damage. at the end of your turn you replenish your hand up to your hand size, if your deck is empty and you can't die you are at 0 hp...

cure spells put 1d4+1 random discarded cards back in your deck...
