Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Chronicles Subscriber - I Couldn't Resist!

I too finally subscribed to the Chronicles stuff on top of my regular Pathfinder and Gamemastery subscriptions, but see...

...my gaming dollars are no longer divvied up all over the place anymore. They're all going to Paizo, so it's conolidation, and still costing me less each month. :)

Piazo are making their producsts way to expensive these day. $17 for a 64 page book is a little bit over the top to me.

Yep, I only buy PDF's from them now, (except my pathfinder subscription from the magazine subscriptions tranfer). Once those "free" issues are gone I will likely look very carefully at what I want from them and buy PDF if I like it.

So if I understand this correctly, all of these products are going to be based on 3X? That is excepting, of course, products like the "map pack" which is edition independent.

Wondering...

We still haven't seen the 4E rules or the 4E OGL, so at this point, everything we're producing will use the 3.5 rules, yes. If/when we do decide to switch to 4E, we'll certainly announce it here and at paizo.com and elsewhere, at which point which products we're doing are 3.5 and 4E will be revealed. For now, though, they're all 3.5 (although the gazetteers are designed to be relatively rules-light, so they should work well with any game system, really).

Obviously this "subscription isn't for everyone, and the only benefit is a PDF version of everything except the cards. So if your into the PAthfinder series and setting, and really like to have PDF's, its a great deal. OTherwise your better off, obviously, buying things the same way you always do.

If I could afford to subscribe, I would, but I am one of those military disabled families the government is failing to take care of. So until the government properly takes care of my wife I am lucky to afford Pathfinder itself.

I'm a PF/GM subscriber, but I'm not sure I'll subscribe to Chronicles, too. I do want almost every single book in the line, but the other stuff, not so much. Not begrudging those that like what is offered, just that it's not for me.

OTOH, if they don't let us order stuff and combine shipping with the other subs, I might be forced to subscribe until they do.... :\

You haven't seen one of their books yet, then. Compared to what WotC and nearly every other 3rd party company puts out (GR comes close), the production values of Paizo's stuff is top notch. I think they're worth every penny.

They mention that you can combine shipments to save on shipping with other items for THAT month. I believe it was in the lengthy board thread about this subscription service.

Yes, I agree that Paizo's stuff is high price, but I do agree that it is also top notch and well worth it. A nice heavy paper grade, full color, and the bindings are holding up very well so far.

They are also somewhat water resistant, because I got mine wet, dried it off quickly with paper towels, and the pages didn't wrinkle or anything.
