Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Regions?

I have some Pathfinder stuff, but not the Chronicles Campaign Setting, and I am thinking of buying. So I have one question: does Pathfinder have "home regions" like FR, and regional feats?

The trait mechanics are used in Pathfinder rather than regional feats. I think they're an improvement, as it's a lower cost for background/flavor. Similar in concept - they're essentially half-power feats used for mechanical elements to reflect the PC's background.
