Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder RPG] Adventures not set in Golarion

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
First, let me state that I think the Pathfinder modules and adventure paths produced by Paizo are top notch. I have the first six adventure path modules and a few of the older "GameMastery" modules.

However, the adventure paths are just too connected to Golarion, which I'm not as keen on as some Pathfinder fans. I don't know why, but I just can't get into the setting. (The Great Beyond is awesome, however!) Now, I realize the other modules are designed to be more independent of the campaign setting, but I still feel that many of the adventures are too "Golarion-y" for my use.

What I want are Pathfinder RPG modules that are NOT set in Golarion at all. And I want them to be available in print at my FLGS. I want them to be of good quality but they don't have to be in full color. I want unique adventure sites and dungeons that are completely generic.

And I want a new gaming magazine that does for Pathfinder what Dungeon did for D&D.

Anyone up for the challenge?

Regards,

Knightfall

Re: adventures, you might want to check out Raging Swan's stuff (to be found here). Their adventures are easy to use and drop into the setting of your choice; all you would have to do are minor replacements (e.g.: switch generic god x for the god of your choice for your setting). Also, the 'feel' of their product works very well with PF.

Regarding magazines, you probably know Kobold Quarterly? It's really your best bet right now for monthly PF material, even if it doesn't include full adventures.

I guess it is just not financially viable to do something like that (provided one wants to keep the quality level at that of Dungeon Magazine) at the moment, and since Paizo is out of that game, the burden would rest on small press publishers. The only thing I can really see happening is a pdf-only magazine, but to do that with any success 3pps in general would need to really step up and improve their game in terms of layout, presentation, art and editing. Which kind of defeats the purpose of being small press, but there you have it ;).

Frog God Games would seem to fill the niche you are looking for - with one exception - they will likely not be at your FLGS.

Interaction Point Games is releasing a series of adventures (the first is already in print) that are available through your FLGS. You can check them out online at www . interactionpoint . com .
