Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder + Trailblazer Magic System & Action Points?

Has anyone tried to combine the PFRPG Rules and the Very nice Trailblazer RPG Rules?

Trailblazer has A BMB System wherein spellcasting is unified under a single progression table so you can multiclass less painfully.

I haven't tried it, but I've read over the Trailblazer rules when I was trying to decide whether I wanted to move from 3.5 to Trailblazer or Pathfinder or some combination. I have been enamored with Pathfinder so I have not done any mixing of the rule sets yet though.

There is the Bad Axe Games forum on here who might have info:

Bad Axe Games Hosted Forum - EN World D&D / RPG News

There was a thread I found at quick glance there as well:

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks IronWolf. We'll see if I get a response there.

I'd like to combine the two. Trailblazer just has some really good stuff in it.

I use Trailblazer for encounter building...

I only use Trailblazer for faster encounter building for games I run. I have looked at the Action point system and my players are OK with it, but they have yet to apply it, and I don't want to force something they did think to use. Like IronWolf, I'm pretty satisfied with Pathfinder, and since it is still 'new' for my group, I'm not ready to tweak or houserule it and letting the Core stand on its own.

After another year, I might be interested in tweaking and then I'll probably look more closely at Trailblazer, but so far, I'm happy with Core.

One thing because my work is intended for publication, I want to be 3pp to Pathfinder, rather than a 3pp to something in between -- Trailblazer, etc. I need to work closer to the root for a wider audience for now.

That's fair. I wrote an article for KQ, and it's designed to be compatible with straight PFRPG.

That being said, in my personal games I don't play like that. Even withouusing trailblazer, I still largely don't use pfrpg as is. I try to design most of my changes to be modular enough so that I can apply them or not apply them without changing everything. These class things are pretty widesweeping, which is why I want to be able to apply them before my next campaign starts up.
