PayPal live for DDI

Hey guys. We just posted this up on our site and I wated to make sure you had it here too.

Here's the official message:

Wizards of the Coast is pleased to announce that PayPal is now an accepted method of payment for D&D Insider subscriptions. We are especially pleased to have this option available to our customers while introductory pricing is still available.

On my own personal note, thanks to everyone for being so patient while we worked to get this through. I'm really happy that we were able to integrate paypal as a payment option before the price change went live. Now hopefully those people without credit cards will have the chance to check out and enjoy D&D Insider.

Hooray! Thanks for the good news. :D

@ Trevor: Is it possible to switch from credit cards to PayPal when extending the DDI subscription?

Oh happy day! Say hi to (one of) your (many) new(est) members!

PS. Sorry for not contributing more than this, I'm just too giddy to say anything else!

Oh sure, just rain on my parade :) Just kidding of course. At this point I don't have any news on traps/hazards or other updates to DDI tools and features. However, the issue of traps and hazards has been brought up with the Rouse and everyone else involved with DDI, and I know it's something we'd like to address. As soon as I have any official word, you'll see it here.

Thanks, Trevor, this will cut a lot of time in game preparation.

I paid with credit card when I joined the DDi. Once the renewal date comes up, can I change it to PayPal?

Well Klaus, I think you might have a couple different options to switch from credit card to PayPal. Let me do some leg work and poking and I'll get back to you with the options and the processes involved.

Well, assuming the process I went through worked properly, the answer is yes, as I've just attempted to do it and didn't get any problems.

I'll report back once I've looked at the confirmation email.

Thanks for getting this sorted out, Trevor! As a UK subscriber with no credit card, I had to get a friend to pay for DDI subscription and pay him back, which was less than easy. Now I've extended by myself.
