Ichtor listens, intrigued. "Yes into the dreams we go... why wait longer?" The mage relishes the opportunity.

"Rainbow creatures, Milgra... we are familiar with them, aren't we?"

Ichtor relishes the opportunity to speak further about the world of dreams, but knows he must first build trust.

Dorn nods and sets down the rest of the wine without finishing it.

"As soon as my armor arrives I'm ready. One further thought tho...death in the dream is real, and Donvena Swifthammer is in the dream as well. We should see this dwarf that we may know her there. It would give us scant comfort to defeat the rainbow creature only to have lady Swifthammer die during the confrontation."

The eagerness of the strange wizard is concerning to me. I don't conceal my distaste at his presence.

"Not looking forward to sleeping inside someone's dream prison," I say, "I don't think any of us will sleep well until this is over."

"Aye, Dorn, this likely will be a difficult trial," replies Nazgrel. "I'm sure followers of Ilmater (mispronunced) don't shy from difficult trials, however."

Dorn growls low. "If you know that about Ilmater you know enough to say his name right, tusker. Ilmater bears enough burdens without adding your scorn."

Dorn cocks his head to the side and looks up thru his eyebrows at the half orc.

"Now now Gentlemen, I'm sure Ilmater ( pronounced correctly) would not mind the compliment in any case and I think Nazgrel was offering a compliment. As we are all to be working together we should come to trust each other. I don't know much of this dream world, but our very lives may depend on it. No harm was meant.

It seems as if we are ready then..."

Fam will nod. "Yes, speed is best, though another should be joining us."

Fam will see that Jonas's camp is notified and Dorn's armor is delievered. She will then offer to guide you to Donvena's sick room. The sight you see in the room is quite shocking. Several acolytes in the garb of Selune stand around Donvena, casting minor magics on her. Donvena though rivets your attention. She is quite attrative with long chestnut hair down past her shoulders. She is dressed in a simple cloth dress that is soaked in sweat. She is on a sick bed and in a bad condition. She would appear pale and gaunt if she were a human of her size, however for a dwarf you know she must be barely hanging on. Her face is sunken as if she has not eaten for days. A gleam of sweat coats her face as if from great exertion. As you watch she sporadically thrashes aroud. At one point, she screams, " No! Not again don't let them take me. Not those..."

Fam will guide you from the room when you've seen enough. "I want to remind you that in the dream she may appear different, she could appear as she is now or as a older or younger version of herself. Follow me."

Fam leads you to a large hall that has been converted into a strange bedroom. Several beds are placed about the room and as you walk in padding, as for animals, is being laid. Fam looks at you, "As you can see we have prepared a secure location for you to enter the dream. the High Moonmitress should be complete with her ritual soon and will be in. Till then if you have any further questions of last minute errands now is the time."

Ichtor briefly wonders at the wisdom of being so vulnerable, but the opportunity to wander into the dreams of someone is too intriguing to deny. He casts a look at the others, and supposes it is as good a group as any.

"No more questions, Fam. Into Dreams we go. I certainly hope we all make it, and that my magicks and our weapons will function in this other universe. I sincerely wonder if our dreaming dwarf still believes in hope and goodness. If she does, we might still succeed. If not..." His voice trails off.

Jonas turns to Claiborne."well Clai, I must admit I am not used to putting my helm ON before going to sleep." He leads Silver Lance to some padding, "you'll be okay Lance" and as Silver Lance and Claiborne lay down, Jonas tightens his straps says a quick prayer to Nobanion, looks around to see if others are doing the same and goes to sleep.

Nazgrel turns to Razor Claw, "I wonder if you're the first lion to hunt his prey in the dream, big cat."

Nazgrel and Razor Claw then get comfortable and doze off.
