The original thread was lost during the last server crash, but I feel the need to revive this, both for commentary and game purpose.
For the commentary...
Tried watching the series second time around (taped them over the weekends) and I have to confess it was getting harder to watch it again because of the sexism drama power play. Maybe Jared was right, there are far too many type-A personalities pushing their agendas or causes on the ranch community, with the exception of Mr. Cooke, who -- I'm sad to say this -- is so emasculated.
I tried to see some educational worth, but whether it was deliberate editing or off-screen directing, the series has become a tragic joke. What is even worse, someone thought this is good enough to air on PBS, not CBS.
For the game...
Anybody rustled up some good encounter tables for use in a typical ranch/cowhunting/cattle-driving campaign?
