PC GEN: Why does it expect data to be in a certain path name?...how to change?...

I am using some customized PC Gen files from previous versions based on the core rules, but I often get file not found errors in loading, and I have noticed that the folder naming conventions have changed over time. How do I get it to accept this alternative PC Gen wotc data set?

Now are you talking about files that you have customized yourself with house rules and such or all the non-SRD material that was taken out?

I ran into this same problem with my set of data files. Because of d20 licensing requirements and some other factors, the PCGen team needed to change the names of some of the folders. The easiest way to do this is to find a text editor that will search and replace multiple files, find the old name of the folder and change it to the new name.

Either that or wait for whatever announcement is forthcoming from WotC or Code Monkey Publishing. I am assuming that it is good news for PCGen otherwise, they would not be mentioning it so much
