Actually I am interested in both. Is there anything besides the .lst files and the OGL statement that is OGC?

Except that I can't find anywhere that says something like: "The contents of all .lst files are OGC, except for some names which have been identified by the NAMEISPI:Y tag"

I am not a publisher; but I am a copyright holder who will be having some things published in the near future.

In OGL-land, you have 2 options: either it's OGC or it's PI. Which is kind of funny since in Math-land PI is 3.1415982344723423 (or thereabouts). Now you know why I'm not a standup comedian. :)

Since you will be a published OGL author (I'm assuming you will be even though you don't specify that your copyright is for OGL or D20 related works), maybe you can tell me what you're looking for instead of me playing mind-reading games. You've answered one of the questions: Does this explanation satisfy you? You answered "Except that I can't find anywhere that says something like: "The contents of all .lst files are OGC, except for some names which have been identified by the NAMEISPI:Y tag"". From your answer I can see that you want me to put that specific text somewhere but you give no indication of where it would be most appropriate. Most publishers have been happy with the implicit deliniation between OGC and PI. Since you seem unsatisfied by this path, I must assume that there are others who would feel the same way. So if you would propose a spot where you think this text would be most appropriate, I'd really appreciate it. We'll run it past some other publishers and see if they agree with that placement. We can take this to email if you'd prefer.

I can think of 4 good places to put this text.
1) In your about box.
2) In your section 15 license dialog box.
3) In your required d20 dialog box.
4) In a readme.txt file in the list file directory

I think that putting doing #2 and #4 is the best.

I wasn't trying to play mind games with you, sorry if it seemed that way. Before jumping to conclusions I wanted to make sure that I had not missed something somewhere. It seems that you have clearly marked OGC, but failed to explain your markings. Since you release new versions on a regular basis, easy to fix.

Thank You,
Scott
