PCGen and 3.5?

First, I'm not a data monkey, only an OGL monkey. That being said, it is my understanding that we will do the release as WotC will. It has been said that 3.5 will be its own section of the SRD, and, therefore, PCGen will have code for 3.5 in a separate directory structure.

Does that mean that 3.5e rules will be selected from the taskbar at the top, just like how you switch between D&D and D20 Modern?

So, if true, it sounds like there will be three options from the menu: D&D 3e, D&D 3.5e, and D20 Modern.

3.5e SRD and PCGen

Speaking as the chief data monkey.......

Yes we will have 3.5e SRD files. No, they won't be available until sometime after GenCon.

They probably will have their own GameMode, which will mean DnD 3.0 and DnD 3.5 game modes to choose from. I'm going to see if I can avoid it, but I won't know until we are actually doing the files.

I can't say more now, since I'm bound by an NDA until the books actually hit the streets and Andy Smith publishes the RSRD.
