PCs going to a jungle

Not sure where Coyote6 got them from but he threw jungle versions of Orcs (Lossals if i am spelling it right) along with Goblin like things called Norkers or something like this spelling. I believe those leveled with say ranger levels. If your campaign lay in Greyhawk i would say give them something like fav enemy humans or elves. Maybe dig into the Book 'o'vile darkness and terroize them with some of the creatures in there. There's nothing like being terrorized by leveled cannabalistic halfings bent of eating you and your friends. And if they are still not challenged enough throw the old classic Black or Green Dragon at em and see how they fair. The dino route seems a little predictable to me however. Sorry to knock anyone elses ideas just seems like anytime someone says jungle there is a flurry of dino answers......go with something different. You say they are half celestial....Go with Fiends and Devils maybe. Hope any of this drivel helps you sort out a wonderfully tormenting adventure for them. :]

All I'll say is make use of woodland stride. When jungles are thick, speed becomes an issue. Give the druid a chance to use his ability, it comes up so rarely in most campaigns.

In a humid jungle, those with armor are going to run into several problems. First, mobility is going to be difficult in tangled or wet areas. Second, the heat is going to cause trouble. Third, chafing is going to be a serious problem. It is not only uncomfortable, but can lead to infection in embarrasing places.

Here druids and lightly-equipped rangers will help save the day. The tanks are going to find themselves a bit hindered. You should play up the need to travel light or risk their health.
