First Post
Ok so I got some PDF books they're my first real non-printed books I ever bought. Am I limited to viewing them on my computer. Is there any other device that can view them and if so did anyone ever use it??

I have a problem when it comes the reading anything of length on my copmputer. It starts out fine but then I get into a mode where I realize I'm using my computer and think "Hmm I could check my mail, wonder whats going on Enworld/rpgnet/EQ2/WOW" etc.. Needless to say I forget all about reading and just do something else completly...

This is kind of a stupid thread, but it is my problem heheh :D

You can get Acrobat Reader for Palm PDAs (and presumably PocketPCs).

Or you can just print them out.

I wasn't sure if PDA's could view it.. It's something I'll look into, hopefully I can get one cheap (yeah right).

I remember a long time ago (and this is why I made this thread) there was a pretty big, I guess you could call it a Screen(about the size of a book) that would display various types of Text Documents. I'm guessing since I couldn't find it that it never went over well and has been discontinued.

There were 'readers' you can some times find them at a bookstore. Rumor has it that you may see some PDA's under 100$ around the end of the year, there is also a rumor of a company making a USB port reader, you just plug a flash drive and the device reads from it, all it is a screen and limited OS to read PDF/MS-Reader files.

I would love a device like this.

This HERE is what I was looking for. However Cnet doesn't give it a good review. They also have another one listed on the site that even gets a worse review.. Ohh well guess I got to keep looking =)

I still have hopes that the PSP will be able to show PDFs.

Though I dunno if the screen is sharp enough to read them.

But it can already display web sites/html
