PDF products I'd like to see

The galleon. I'm thinking the more versatile, generic kind of galleon used by the Spanish, English and Portuguese until right before the conflict of the Spanish Armada (by then Drake had the racebuilt galleon at his command, and that one is more military in nature).

I think the galleon would be a good first product, since it can serve a multitude of purposes, from merchant and passenger vessels, to low-end military vessels.

Remember what I said, I would heap praises everlasting upon those who release such a product. :)
Well... no promises until I can see what reference materials I can get my hands on... but I'm planning to give it a shot. I should know within a couple of days if it's going to be feasible.

Funny, we also have an animal book in the pipeline.

We tentatively have a late fall/winter date set.

Might have to speed things up a bit! ;)

Daniel,
A question for you.
Did this product...

...not meet your needs?
And if not, in what way does it fall short?
Actually, I had not seen that product. I just downloaded it and played around with it a little, and actually I like it. If you will allow me to nitpick, though:
I wish the elevation diagram was bigger and that it included a cutaway.
I would like the text introduction and real-life stats I mentioned above.
I would like the maps to be OGC.

Without nitpicking, it is a good product, and I can always make my own map based on the model provided. Thanks for pointing this product out to me.

Let me do state, however, that were I to see a product more like the one I described in my previous post, I would still buy it immediately.

A pdf (or series of pdfs) detailing sailing vessels: I want to see accurate (as historically as possible) deck plans, elevation diagrams, and cut-away diagrams for a variety of historical sailing ships like a frigate, galleon, caravel, man-o-war, etc. And it would be heaven-sent if the maps were declared OGC.

Actually, Adamant is working on something in that vein, to tie in with our support for SKULL & BONES.

We'll be concentrating on the late 17th/early 18th century.

Glad you found it somewhat useful. If nothing else, it's certainly available a bit sooner than anything I'll get put together.

That sounds excellent! I know making the maps OGC will probably be the sticking point with most publishers, so I won't push too much for that. But good layout of the ship and all its areas, as well as a short but sweet intro to the ship and all its features are something that I would love. In the case of Skull & Bones, with its semi-historical setting, it would be even better.
And on an aside, I need to get Skull & Bones. It's the only gaming book out there in which I can play in my native land (Puerto Rico). And that to me is just cool as heck. :D

Like I said, it was useful in the sense that I was able to make my own made-up map from the model provided, which certainly helps me finish the adventure I am writing. For the time being, it will do.

I would like to see a product that is a trifold screen with tons of encounters and plot hooks printed right on it - One screen of wilderness - one screen of dungeon - one screen of urban. The product would contain a few words of advice on piecing these things together to create adventures on the fly linking prepared encounters. Several screens of varying Crs would be ideal with abbreviated stat blocks and a MM reference.

Sort of taking the random enounter chart adventure to a higher, better level. Allowing DMs to be prepared no matter how far off track the PCs go from his originally planned adventure.

I can't wait for Sean Reynolds ot publish his New Argonauts campaign.

I would also like to see the book of deck plans for Skull & Bones. Some poster sized options would be nice, too. I used the poster printing option on my computer & printer to make a good blow up of The Bounty from some deck plans I found on the net for a boarding action in my Skull & Bones D&D game a few weeks ago.
