I've been able to use Acrobat Reader to simply cut out the pictures I don't want to print from PDF downloads. As a publisher of PDF, I find it odd that customers would request this, since they can easily do it themselves.

If I want to select just a portion of the text, and if the pdf use an odd font, the result isn't really great (with FCTF most number becomes dots on my computer when I copy & paste).

BTW Ranger, does RPGnow use the same Print On Demand that Morrus Thought of?

I hoped that, considering the system, the print on demand could have had a production for Europe, and one for U.S.
IIRC the last survey on the ENboard showed that roughly a third of the visitors where European, so this is kind of important (yeah, I know, I'm becoming boring with my European lobbying:p).

2. I'm not sure how FLGS can make a profit by stocking a catalogue of digital gaming products without on-site printing.

I'm imagining that the store would have a printed copy of products available for previewing. Then you would order your PoD copy through them. If they get enough volume then shipping costs (per item) are reduced, making it more viable.
