Peaceful Discourse: So what have you changed your mind about so far?

I have the same feeling as Plane Sailing. At the moment I'm taking things in. So for now I haven't changed my mind on anything.

I'm making an effort to keep an open mind and be constructive with my criticism. I hope if we all do that then as a community we'll come up with some good ideas.

Til we see the bigger picture and the few titbits we know are put into context its hard to do anything but conjecture.

I've gone from thinking that this was a wonderful idea, an edition for all D&D styles, to thinking they must be crazy, to thinking that maybe it's possible.

This captures my view.

I have always maintained that I dont want 5th ed to be like a retro clone because we have enough of these. While that was my initial fear I now think there is some possibility that the system may be able to do new things.

I guess I am hoping for a new system that enables new experiences - because I really appreciated that 4th was something new and innovative (even if it did things that did not jell with me). Love or hate it, it tried new things and these things mostly worked well for me.

To be honest, I don't come into this with my mind set any particular way, so no 'change' yet because it is all absorption and consideration at the moment.

This.

Well, perhaps -- that it is possible to have an Edition change without a war. At the moment, things are pretty civil.

Hoping it stays that way.
