It's not clear to me if they've already quietly moved him and The Suicide Squad from the Snyderverse to the new DCU or if that's what they're doing with the extradimensional closet dimensions. Either way, I'm down. I'd love to see him and Guy interact one day.

From my understanding, Season 2 somehow acknowledges that Season 1 happened, but Season 2 also exists independently from Season 1.

I have now idea how or if they will address that in show.

James Gunn appears before the opening credits of the first episode and says "look, do you really want three episodes where I explain that we're now in the DCU, or would you prefer three good episodes instead?"
