Penumbra bestiary miniatures

I'm also looking forward to the Lance & Laser minis that are in the works already to accompany it. Imagine, a monster book, and figs of the new monsters that you'll be able to pick up as well!

I haven't bought a miniature in over seven years, but having contributed monsters to the bestiary I might not be able to pass up getting miniatures of monsters I wrote. Any more information on where these can be bought, when they are coming out, which monsters will be done and for what prices? Or when and where we can get that information?

Unfortunately, I don't have the answers for you yet! I know Michelle had a list of suggested monsters, and the sculptors chose some of their favorites from among them, but I'm not sure which, and we still have to iron out a lot of the details of the arrangement.

Obviously, one of them will be the ENWorld contest monster, which has already been seen here'bouts.

I'm a little concerned about the choice of miniaure manufacture. I haven't seen anything from them in the last few years to be honest, but when last I collected them, they were a little below Ral Partha in quality.

Anyone seen any of their more recent stuff or played Warchest?

With all of the great miniatures out there now, 100 Kingdoms, War Machine, Iron Winds, Reaper, and others, I'm don't know if L&L is the best choice.

OK...I, uh, broke into Michelle's computer (easy when I know all the access codes in the office) to sneak a peek at the list of minis in development. Names I see on the list include Amphi, Bortha, Cernan, War Dragon, Half-Giant (template) and Rebuilt (template). What all of that means...well, I don't know, since I haven't read the manuscript yet! (It's still being edited by Michelle.) I believe there will be at least a couple more, and there may (I don't really know) be a chance that some of those won't actually end up as figs.

But at least that gives you some rumor material to crunch on for the moment.

Ditto. Actually, though, a miniature of my contribution would be VERY easy to make, all things considered. (Attempting to sell it would be a tactic worthy of Gary Jackson, though.)
