People who do like the minis, which ones do you like best/least?

So...with all this talk about how much people don't like the mini's, I was wondering...for the people who DO like them, which ones are your favorites? Least favorites?

I think they have been improving each set. I haven't got Archfiends yet, but they look to be very cool. I see more women PCs (the healer looks a lot like my sorcerer / bard). The Dragons look great too. My favorite individual so far is probably the Red Dragon. I also like the detail on the Druid of Obad-Hai ( we have an NPC he fits perfectly). I have no real use for him at the moment but I like the Centaur from the Harbinger set as well.

If I had to pick a least favorite, I'd say maybe the Drunken Master (we have no real use for him in our games).

So what are yours?

The dretch definitely bites. I think they chose the most useless mini imaginable and decided to make it common in order to make mini- buyers go nuts.

Did I mention that I hate the dretch?

Personally, I like the orcs, goblins, and kobolds. I am trying to build warbands out of them.

I like the dire ape the most. I like to stick other minis in its mouth and make it look like he's chewing off their heads.

The orc druid is cool too. I like his rad hairdo.

The goblin sneak has a special place in my heart too.

I love the Red Dragon. I also like the Umber Hulk, Troll, Thri Kreen and Dire Lion. I dislike the Dretch.
I havent got to see the Archfiends yet but I just found out my case was delivered today and can't wait to get home.

I like the dragons too. I think the molding and coloring is really good. Esp on the brass, although I've had friends say the mini needs to be on a large base cause the wings tend to make it tip over. The owlbear is well done too.

For PC "types" I like the cleric of Grummush. However I think that there is a lack at this point of a large number of figures for adventurer types. Something I think that Reaper has an advantage to as opposed to the WOTC minis. I haven't found a good WOTC mini for any of my PC's. I like using them for games, since they're cheap. I've gotten a bunch of the orcs and hobgoblins on Ebay for use in games. I don't play the miniature game but rather use them for table top games.

As far as bad ones, I think the painting and molding for the ghoul is really bad. There's a lack of detail on it.

I like the dretch because then I have a dretch mini. I don't play the minis game, so I don't care about its stats.

Its a kinda wierd sculpt, but not bad.

Dire Lion and Ape are my faves from dragoneye.

The Evermeet Wizard is GREAT from Archfiends, so is the fire elemental, but I wish it were a bit bigger.
