People Who's Names Fit Their Jobs

Here at my office our email aliases are our first initial followed by the last name. There is an employee here whose email alias is Aschmuck. It doesn't really suit her job (if I selected a surname for her based on that criteria I think it would be more likely to begin with a B), but I can't help thinking, when she married Mr. Schmuck did she realize that was going to be her name?

There used to be an Afagg here as well.
The other day I ran into someone who's name was Knoblock. I find that one particularly amusing. Sounds like a gnomish name!!

My dentist's name is Dr. Docktor. And in Germany I saw a dentist who was Dr. Wacky. Really.

When my wife work at a credit union there was a family that were members, their name was Crotchfelt. And another member was Johnny P. Harder. He would send his deposit slips in like that.

I wonder what they did as a profession.

There is a story that I've heard from some of the Court Reporters that I work for who used to take the depositions of this one doctor who testified a lot as an expert witness. My understanding is that his name is Dutch and is spelled something like "Griesedyck". Lawyers would always be calling him (phonetically) "Dr. Grise Dike" and he would quickly correct them saying (again phonetically), "That's Greasy Dick. Dr. Greasy Dick".

The attorneys quickly took to simply addressing him as "Dr."

For the record I'm fairly certain that he was neither a Gynocologist nor a Urologist.
