now it's time to move on.

And Wizards has. WE haven't had a dragon book come out since Dragon Magic in what late Summer? And there are no dragon books I saw on the schedule so it's not like we are still getting them or have had them recently.

Yeah, seriously. The only people still bringing it up are those who just want to gripe. Heck, even the WotC site got the idea about the dragonspawn dislike and made a point to note that only 1 dragonspawn is even in Dragon Magic (I think I got the book right).

The only people reminding us that 2006 was the year of the dragon are those with an axe to grind. But WotC has moved on. All those of us who bought the books because we love dragons have already moved on. Now let's everyone else move on ... too. We got our dragon love, and that's cool. But 2007 looks like business as usual. And that's cool too.

Why dragons? Because they are big, they fly, they breathe fire...

Blecch.

I grew up with Dragonslayer and Smaug... Lately I've been using the Wyrm from D20 Modern, instead of the standard color-coded D&D dragon. It fits the classic dragon stereotype a bit better.

Fair point.

But what I really want to see from WotC is more base classes and PrCs with breath weapons! :p
