Umm... 3.5, Permenency has a list of things that can be made Permenent... and Polymorph isn't on it.

Besides, you cannot just let your cohort do things, that cost XP. You can certainly ask the cohort to do these things, but it doesn't automatically mean, that they are done.

That's what you think, but there are many out there who do in fact make their cohort do such things. I can't count the number of "builds" that actually depend on leadership and such cheesy combos.
