Room 4, bigass rock trap, the boulder follow the route marked on the map.

Umm, yeah, the path loops?

What happens if the party just lets it keep going?

In my copy, the dotted red line stops one square short of completing the loop. I assumed that's where the boulder runs out of momentum.
 

When I ran it, I had the speed stay at 8 while minions were pushing the bolder. When the bolder is unattended it whet speed = 8 then 7 then 6 then 5 then 4 then 3 then 2 then 1then it stopped.
 

When I ran it, it went around a couple times, badly injured the Wizard, killed 3 minions I added, and hurt and proned a Dragon shield.

Boulder kept battle on toes.
