Personal Attack Policy

Yes, but doing so would be getting personal, and would cause me or some other moderator to have to step in. So, let's not do that, please.

Is this really ENWorld's policy? Personal attacks are OK as long as I don't name the people I'm attacking? As long as I can refer to them obliquely and only through non-specific references to where their posts can be found everything's OK?

Like: "There are some rabid moderators on ENWorld. They're the ones who post with red text in threads starting with the letter A."

Some Other Guy: "Can you post a link to those posts?"

Umbran: "Don't do that. That would make it personal and then the moderators would need to step in."

Sarcastically calling out moderators certainly isn't EN World's policy, and is clearly forbidden in the rules.

Feel free to start a less antagonist general query about posting guidelines if you require clarification or advice, but this thread is closed.
