If you are independently wealthy, you can afford to fly your favorite gaming buddies down to your private island to game with you.

So, how does one get to be one of Peter's favorite gaming buddies? Is there an application I can fill out?

Hell, if I were independently wealthy, I would EMPLOY my friends to game with me all the time. :) Imagine that your job would be to playtest products for 8 hours a day, and the rest of the time is free for friends and family. :)

Hmmm.....gotta buy some lottery tickets on the way to work tonight..................

If you were to employ 5 people at 30K per year just to game with them full time, you would end up spending $150,000 per year. Of course then they would want raises, and there would be DM burnout, and the problems inherent with high level characters. I think it would be better to give them all jobs that actually work to make you money, and then make gaming a portion of their workload.

If I were independently wealthy, I'd hire Piratecat to be my DM. "Today I want something about, say 60% hack, 40% slash. Keep my PC alive, and I'll think about letting you out of the cage. And tell those supermodels to stop rolling so low."
