You are literally declaring that it's ok while trying to patch the problem with a secondary solution hooking into the RAW grapple drag rather than admitting that the grapple drag RAW itself is badly written as printed and is the section that requires an errata.</p><p></p><p>You are creating and inserting implied motives and competency where none was assigned. The closest to that is where I literally quoted with link to wotc's own preview and noted that wotc thought that was ok to design as well as hype.
