The only thing that surprises me here is that there are still New 1st Edition Players Handbooks available (which just proves the power of Amazon). But it is interesting. As Stephen Colbert would say, the market has spoken . . .

Actually that just shows Comic Book Guy is hoping to gouge someone $127.88 for a 3.5 PHB. Highball prices on amazon just show what a seller HOPES some "It Must Be Mine!" sucker will be willing to pay.

Yeah, one of teh HPB by me has 6 of 'em, another has 3. They're in no short supply but comic book guy is just hoping some igjet panics or totally over-values the 'rare, out-of-print' goody.

Noble Knight has one in Excellent+ condition for $44, and a Fair- for $25.

Noble Knight is generally never cheap on their used goods, but instead very reliable.

Yeah, but a) I'm not playing 3e any more, and b) I could get it in PDF if I ever wanted to replace it. Awesome book, but you know.

I recently sold a german copy of the 3.5 Player's Handbook through ebay and got 81 Euros (about 120 American Dollars). That was unexpected.
