PHB special edition has corrected errata?

Right, WOTC never sold them, but I wish they would start.
If they could find a contractor, they can. Just avoid producing those stretchable fabric book covers.

Buying a new book (for $75) to get a nice book cover is odd to me.
Nah. I bought it (for $60) for the red cloth bookmark. :p

You know, that's one thought that's been bugging me: i'd be surprised if it cost more than $40-$50 to have an existing sewn book re-covered in leather. Based on the work involved, it should be pretty cheap--you don't need to rebind, you might even be able to just reuse the existing boards. You could probably get a book that looked as nice or nicer (i still think a dark brown cover would be a better match for the overall design of the PH), for about the same total price, just by having your existing PH re-covered. And they won't charge you a thing for a bookmark or two, at most places.
