phbb gurus: help?!

I've been asked how to set up phbb so that it displays a link to the thread when you hit reply, and also how to make it add a tagline with the reason for an edit, and a timestamp on the edit.
I've no idea how an phbb even works, but it is my understanding that these features aren't in the standard phbb install, and need to be activated or added somehow. ENWorld obviously has them, so I thought perhaps someone here that actually knows phbb will be so kind as to offer me some clues...

EN World doesn't use phpBB, they use vBulletin. So modifications that apply here do not apply to phpBB.

With that said, though I have admined a phpBB board we didn't do any customizations to it, so I won't be much help there. There are some helpful people over on the phpBB forums though that can probably answer your questions in a flash if no one is able to chime in here with answers.
