Phil Reed-Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...And a question

Phil,

I just downloaded the Campaign Planner Deluxe and I must say...it is magnificent and just what I need. Unfortunately, my current game has been meeting irregularly (maybe once a month or two) and I'm finding it hard to keep track of every detail. This planner looks like its a godsend (once I delve fully into it I'll post my comments on the product).

My question is this: Obviously, I can fill out the forms and distribute to my players in print all the little details of my homebrew. Can I give them a pdf (without the ability to fill in/modify the forms) of the applicable forms? And beyond that...I have a few Story Hour fans that might like to see the applicable forms...to maybe run a campaign in my homebrew world. Can I distribute the same unmodifiable pdf with a few of the pages or should I just keep typing that up seperately?

Thanks again for this wonderful pdf.

You mean a PDF version in which you've filled in data specific to your campaign? Yes. If you mean the blank forms then please do not.

Would you mind e-mailing me the PDF as you intend to distribute it? I'd like to see exactly what you want to give out before I say yes or no. I'm sure you can understand why I want to be careful.

And thank you! This is the kind of thread that helps make the work fun.

Yes, I meant a pdf--unmodifiable: I'd print it, scan it and convert it to pdf to remove the option of the forms...and then they'd have to tinker with it for quite awhile to add new text--with the info specific to my campaign.

When I get around to having the forms filled out (maybe by January since I have so much scattered info)...I'll send you a copy so you can see what I mean (in the event any readers actually want the info).

And, you're welcome :D (I enjoy praise as well)

that campaign planner is a GODSEND! I picked up the one that didn't allow for form fillable options, but that's not too bad since I don't have the full version of Acrobat so I wouldn't be able to save anything anyhow. :p Sorry didn't mean to hijack... the thread just reminded me that I had never mentioned how much use I have gotten out of it.

Okay. Yeah, please run by me what you want to distribute (but it all sounds good).

You do know that there are plenty of free software packages out there that you can use to print a file directly to PDF, right? Personally, I use CutePDF Writer.

Actually I do know that. And I have acrobat professional so I know how to do that. The joy of printing and running it through the mass scanner/copier/printer at work is that I know for certain it removes all of the forms in a pdf. It also makes for a smaller file in most cases.

Thanks for the advice though.
